AHA FELLOWSHIP

Reference sheet · 6 August 2026

The lines are already written.

Everything below the fold in the first half of this page is verbatim from the fellowship document. Not paraphrased, not rewritten in a house voice — the actual sentences, set at the size they were always meant to be read at.

That was the mistake in the last round: the storyline kept getting retold in a different voice instead of the document's own best lines being put on screen, big.

The second half is the award-winning work worth stealing from, with a note on what specifically to take from each. Every screenshot is live and was captured at 1440px.

Half one — your own words

13 lines, verbatim from the document
Title

Hero, alone on the screen

A Promise the World Made
Target 3.4

The six words the whole thing hangs on

promote mental health and well-being

Adopted by every UN member state in September 2015. Set these small and quiet, or enormous and alone — nothing in between.

Section 1

The thesis. Could carry the whole hero.

The conversation around mental wellbeing has become louder. Access has not.
Section 1

Full-bleed statement between sections

Target 3.4 will not be missed because India lacks services. It will be missed because most people never reach the ones it has.
Section 2

The argument for students, in one line

The people closest to the problem are often the people most capable of closing the distance.
Section 3

The shortest, hardest-working line in the document

Not through policy. But through people.
Section 4

Aspirational opener

History moves forward because ordinary people choose to care about extraordinary ideas.
Section 4

Why a fellowship at all

We invest in people, because people carry change much further than programmes ever can.
Section 5

The most human line in the document

Every room deserves someone who knows how to make another person feel seen.
Section 6

What success actually means

Success is not measured by what happens while you are a fellow. It is measured by what continues because you were one.
Section 7

Closer, or a full screen of its own

Movements are built one conversation at a time. One community at a time. One person at a time.
Section 8

Final screen, above the apply button

The world made a promise. We believe young people can help fulfil it.
Philosophy

Standfirst or footer signature

A global commitment. Local action. Community-led change.

Half two — what to steal

live sites, captured today

Big type, said plainly

The thing you asked for. One statement, set enormous, given room, and trusted to do the work without decoration. This is the group your document is already written for.

What I'd do with this. Take the Twofold / Oregon treatment — one statement, enormous, given room — and put the document's own lines in it. The hero is “A Promise the World Made” and nothing else. The next screen is “The conversation has become louder. Access has not.” and nothing else.

The document already sequences itself: promise, gap, campuses, people, community, beyond, the world we want, eight years. That is a scroll, not a set of sections that need rewriting.

One thing to decide: whether the ground is warm and light or dark. Everything else follows from it.

A

Make It Loud

After QUIN & Connecticut Justice Alliance

The document on black, opening with a taped riso collage of real campus moments. Loud, urgent, unmistakably student-made.

Anton condensed at poster scale, duotone halftone photography, tape and drawing pins, a scrolling marquee.

A Promise the World Made

After Twofold Therapy & Oregon Outdoor Alliance

The complete document, in order, with every headline lifted verbatim from it. Promise, gap, campuses, the model, communities, the work, beyond campuses, the world we want to build.

Near-black. One statement per screen at display scale, alternating Archivo Black and Instrument Serif so the rhythm changes as the argument does.

O

A Promise the World Made — daylight

After Same content as N, opposite world

Identical to N line for line. Only the ground, alignment and type pairing change, so the warm-versus-dark decision can be made by looking rather than arguing.

Warm paper, centred statements, serif-led, alternating panels. Closes on a deep green screen so the final line still lands hard.
